Mike jests that he considers himself to play the role of “Tax Janitor” more often than most would suspect. The self-proclaimed title is very telling of the amount of dedication and work it takes to cleanup some of the complex tax returns that come through our doors from time-to-time. Mike is a driven individual who understands what is required in order to achieve greater savings and returns for our valued clients. With a balanced mixture of creativity, knowledge, and dedication, Mike excels in his areas of expertise which includes individual, partnership, corporation and estate taxation; and more extensively, the design of the structure for the purchase and sale of business interests.

Mike graduated from the University of Washington in 1975 and received his Master’s in Business Administration (Tax) in 1982. Having worked for the IRS for four years as a revenue agent, Mike has a perspective that further advances and feeds his vast tax knowledge base. Here at Williams & Nulle, PLLC we consider Mike’s experience as a revenue agent to be an “asset” when dealing with the IRS on behalf of our clients for tax matters. However, we still pay close attention to ensure he doesn’t cross over to the dark side.

Speaking of family values, Mike has two children that he is very proud of. His daughter attended college at the Harbin Institute of Technology in China, and is now fluent in the Mandarin Chinese language. As an avid traveler, Mike enjoys any opportunity to visit areas of Asia, (primarily China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore), because he considers them some of the most beautiful and culturally rich regions in the world.

Mike’s adventurous nature and intrigue are attributes that contribute to being a skillful accountant.
