Krystal is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s degree in Accounting. Raised by owners of a small business, Krystal developed her passion for accounting and business management early. She spent the first 9 years of her career in the private sector working her way from staff accountant up to director of accounting. She transitioned to public accounting in 2013 and has found great joy in building strong client relationships and helping businesses improve their processes. Krystal specializes in audits, reviews, compilations, and consulting for a number of industries including construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and not-for-profit.
Krystal obtained her Masters of Professional Accounting and Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from Western Washington University. During her time at Western, she held a variety of student leadership positions, including Webmaster for Beta Alpha Psi and lead of IT on the winning project team for the Beta Alpha Psi Best Practices Competition in 2012. In addition to being an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, she also was active in Beta Gamma Sigma, Accounting Society, Western’s Accounting Tutoring Center, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA).
Krystal is currently a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In her free time, Krystal enjoys riding her horse, managing her spouse’s 360 sprint race car team, and relaxing on the water. She loves the outdoors and considers herself a very non-traditional accountant.
